Project Manager - Major Airport Projects

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a background in construction consultancy and a passion for delivering complex projects within the aviation sector? I am currently working with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy that is looking to appoint a Project Manager to join their growing team and work on a major programme of projects within the airports team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a high-profile aviation portfolio, working alongside experienced professionals to deliver a range of projects within a complex, live operational airport environment.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and leading the successful delivery of projects from inception through to completion. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and wider project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing projects through the full project lifecycle from inception to completion
  • Establishing and maintaining project programmes, budgets, and delivery plans
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary project teams and external consultants
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout project delivery
  • Leading project meetings and coordinating actions across project stakeholders
  • Managing project risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Monitoring project progress against agreed programmes, budgets, and quality standards
  • Supporting procurement and contractor management activities
  • Reviewing project documentation and ensuring appropriate governance and reporting procedures are followed
  • Working closely with Quantity Surveyors and commercial teams to monitor project costs and financial performance
  • Managing change control and ensuring project variations are appropriately assessed
  • Ensuring projects comply with relevant health and safety, statutory, and regulatory requirements
  • Preparing regular project reports and providing clear updates to senior stakeholders
  • Supporting the successful handover and close-out of projects

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
