Construction & Projects Manager (Client-Side Delivery)
London (minimum 1 office day at our London Bridge office, 4 days mobile across London patch)
£49,000 to £53,000
Hyde is looking for a Construction & Projects Manager (Client-Side Delivery) to join our Development team and help deliver high-quality affordable and market sale homes across London.
As Hyde's client-side representative, you'll oversee multiple developments, ensuring homes are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the high standards our customers expect. You'll work closely with developers, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to support the successful delivery of new homes and communities.
Key Duties
- Manage the delivery of multiple residential developments, coordinating contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
- Monitor project budgets, valuations, cashflow forecasts, variations and cost reporting to ensure effective financial control and value for money.
- Oversee construction programmes, identify delivery risks and implement mitigation measures to support timely project delivery.
- Undertake regular site inspections to monitor build quality, health and safety performance, and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate practical completion, snagging, certification, handover and defects management to ensure a smooth transition to operational teams and customers.

As a Construction & Projects Manager we’re seeking someone who can bring:
- Experience delivering residential developments through the construction phase to completion.
- Experience in project management, local authority, social housing, development or built environment consultancies is desirable.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with contractors, consultants and internal teams.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering safe, high-quality homes.
- The ability to manage multiple projects, balancing programme, budget, quality and risk.
- A sound understanding of construction delivery, contractual matters, health and safety, and regulatory compliance.
