Graphite DBM is a construction design, build and management company based in South Yorkshire and working across the UK. We have extensive experience in petrol filling station and retail construction, groundworks and facilities management.
We are known for a personal, tailored service shaped around each client’s requirements. Our team works closely with clients and partners to deliver safe, efficient, high-quality projects.
Role Description
We are looking for a full-time Construction Site Manager, based on site in Sheffield, available to start immediately.

You will run day-to-day site operations and take responsibility for delivering the project safely, on programme and within budget. The role includes:
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
- Monitoring progress against programme
- Implementing and enforcing health and safety standards
- Managing site documentation and records
- Liaising with the client and project stakeholders
- Resolving issues on site as they arise
- Maintaining quality control and compliance with the project specification
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects, ideally in commercial, retail or large civils environments
- Strong planning and project coordination skills
- Cost control and budgeting experience
- Sound knowledge of UK construction regulations and health and safety standards
- Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving abilities
- A relevant construction or engineering qualification, or equivalent experience
- CSCS card and SMSTS
- Full UK driving licence and the ability to work on site in Sheffield
- Good IT skills are essential; experience with Procore is an advantage
