Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Construction Site Manager role based in Skelmersdale. The Construction Site Manager oversees daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification. Responsibilities include:

- Coordinating trades and contractors
- Managing resources and materials
- Monitoring progress against plans
- Addressing site issues as they arise
- Enforcing health and safety standards
- Maintaining site documentation and reports
- Supporting cost control and budgeting activities
- Collaborating with project managers, designers, and clients to achieve project objectives

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong Site Management and Construction Site Management skills to supervise operations and teams effectively.
- Planning skills to organize schedules, resources, and workflows across all phases of construction.
- Cost Control and Budgeting skills to manage expenses, track project costs, and support financial reporting.
- Relevant experience in residential or infrastructure construction projects, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Solid knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
- Proficiency in basic project management and site reporting tools; familiarity with construction management software is beneficial.
- Vocational qualification or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
