Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Construction Site Manager role based in Skelmersdale. The Construction Site Manager oversees daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to specification. Responsibilities include:

Qualifications

Candidates should possess:

  • Strong Site Management and Construction Site Management skills to supervise operations and teams effectively.
  • Planning skills to organize schedules, resources, and workflows across all phases of construction.
  • Cost Control and Budgeting skills to manage expenses, track project costs, and support financial reporting.
  • Relevant experience in residential or infrastructure construction projects, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity.
  • Solid knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, and health and safety standards.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
  • Proficiency in basic project management and site reporting tools; familiarity with construction management software is beneficial.
  • Vocational qualification or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
