Job Title: Site Manager (Façade Specialist)

Location: Brighton (Initial Project) / South East

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum + Competitive Benefits Package

About Our Client

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the UK’s leading specialist façade and building envelope subcontractors. Renowned for their technical excellence, financial stability and high quality project delivery, they work alongside major Tier 1 contractors and developers across the UK. Due to a major project win, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

This is a permanent position offering long term stability and career development. You will initially take full ownership of a flagship 18-month project in Brighton, valued as a substantial specialist package encompassing comprehensive External Wall Insulation (EWI) and high-specification Rainscreen Cladding. Following the successful delivery of this project, you will seamlessly transition to manage subsequent major building envelope projects across the South East region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct day to day site operations, managing specialist sub-contractors, direct labor and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure the 18-month Brighton project is delivered safely, on schedule, within commercial parameters and to strict quality specifications.
  • Oversee the installation of EWI and rainscreen packages, ensuring full adherence to architectural designs, fire safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Drive a zero harm safety culture on site, conducting RAMS reviews, site inductions and toolbox talks in line with main contractor and regulatory standards.
  • Manage QA/QC inspection processes, maintaining digital records and sign-offs (e.g., Field View / SnagR).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the Tier 1 Main Contractor’s site management team, engineers and client representatives.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable track record working as a Site Manager specifically delivering External Wall Insulation (EWI) and Rainscreen Cladding packages.
  • Comprehensive understanding of modern façade systems, backing structures, fire-stopping, thermal insulation and weatherproofing details.
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold Card) and First Aid at Work.
  • Proactive approach to managing site resources, variation tracking and material logistics.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
