The Site Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in south-west London, responsible for overseeing daily operations on luxury residential construction and refurbishment projects. This role coordinates all site activities, including:
- Supervising subcontractors and trades
- Monitoring progress against plans and timelines
- Ensuring work is delivered safely, to specification, and to the highest quality standards
The Site Manager manages on-site logistics, materials, and resources, conducts regular site inspections, and resolves issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain project efficiency. The role involves close collaboration with:
- Project managers
- Architects
- Designers
- Clients
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating updates
- Addressing technical queries
- Ensuring alignment with design intent and regulatory requirements
The Site Manager also supports cost control on site by tracking variations, confirming quantities, and helping maintain budgets while upholding Signature Build’s premium standards.
Qualifications

- Strong Site Management and Construction Site Management skills, with experience running complex residential or heritage projects.
- Proficiency in Planning and scheduling construction activities, including coordinating trades and managing timelines.
- Ability to apply Cost Control and Budgeting skills to support financial monitoring and maintain project profitability.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, building regulations, health and safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
- Proven leadership abilities, including team supervision, contractor coordination, and conflict resolution on site.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Relevant construction management qualification or trade background; experience in high-end or listed-building projects is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in south-west London on a full-time basis.
