Site Manager
Chestnut Homes are a family-run business established for over 35 years and one of the leading new home developers in Lincolnshire. We are NHBC A1 rated and enjoy an enviable reputation for building quality new homes on attractive, well-designed developments varying in size from approximately 30 units up to 500 units. The company continues to grow in a planned and sustainable way, and we are looking to appoint an experienced, driven, and ambitious Site Manager to join our growing business.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the production of quality new homes to meet the aspirations of our customers, within agreed time scales, and cost effectively
- Working closely with the support team at head office
- Ensuring that the production work is carried out in a planned and organised manner, so the site is run as efficiently and safely as possible
- Building a good working relationship with sales staff to ensure that we are operating effectively as a ‘Chestnut Home Team’
- Being organised by planning and monitoring
- Creating a site team by involvement and motivation
- Giving clear, well-thought-through instructions, set clear standards, and ensure that they are met
- Complying with and implementing the company’s policies & procedures
- Positive involvement with the Customer Care Team

Your Experience
The successful applicant must have:
- Excellent management skills
- A thorough knowledge of both traditional and timber frame construction
- Comprehensive health and safety understanding
- A track record of effectively managing residential developments and producing high-quality new homes on programme to meet the needs of valued customers
- All relevant health & safety and site management qualifications (although we are always prepared to improve the skills and qualifications of all our employees)
- A full valid UK driving license
- At least three years’ experience of managing larger construction developments
