Construction Solicitor - NQ to 4 PQE
Birmingham | Hybrid Working | Leading UK Law Firm
A highly regarded UK law firm is looking to strengthen its Birmingham Construction team with the appointment of a Construction Solicitor at NQ to 4 PQE.
This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a well-established Construction practice, working alongside experienced Partners and lawyers on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious construction matters.
The team acts for a diverse range of clients across the built environment, including developers, contractors, housebuilders, investors, and organizations across the public and private sectors.
The role
You will have the opportunity to advise on a varied caseload, including:
- Construction and engineering contracts and project documentation
- Professional appointments, warranties, bonds, and guarantees
- Construction disputes, including adjudication, mediation, arbitration, and litigation
- Dispute avoidance and resolution
- Development and infrastructure projects across a range of sectors
- Negotiating contracts and advising clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Building strong relationships with clients and other professional advisers

What we're looking for
- NQ to 4 PQE experience within Construction
- Experience across contentious and/or non-contentious Construction work
- Strong technical and drafting skills
- Commercially minded with a client-focused approach
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Someone who is proactive, personable, and keen to develop their career within a leading Construction team
