Summary:
Are you an experienced supervisor looking for a high-impact client-side role?
Do you have the expertise to enforce site safety, uphold quality standards, and keep critical infrastructure projects running smoothly?
As a Construction Supervisor, you will be our frontline eyes and ears on site, ensuring our main contractors deliver critical infrastructure projects safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
You’ll take ownership of on-site operations—from leading CDM compliance and managing complex site shutdowns to maintaining rigorous quality assurance and site records.

Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure contractors adhere to South East Water's Health, Safety, Environmental, and operational policies, including CDM Regulations.
- Ensure the quality of work, tests, and inspections meet the required standards and specifications.
- Review and monitor contractor resources and progress, maintaining detailed site records.
- Respond to contractor communications and requests for information.
- Regularly report on Health & Safety and CDM compliance.
- Plan and coordinate site shutdowns.
- Assist in the investigation of new schemes and produce cost estimates.
- Liaise with South East Water departments and stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and ensure timely close-out of actions.
- Seek and report efficiencies.

You'll need:
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- HNC/HND in a relevant Construction related discipline or equivalent.
- Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card / Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) Safety Passport.
- Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) / Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Qualification.
- EUSR Water Hygiene Card.
- In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Familiarity with NEC contract administration.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes and construction specifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and coordinate shutdowns using project management tools or OMS systems.
- Competency in maintaining detailed site records and managing project timelines.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or coordination role on construction or infrastructure projects.

Compensation package:
Up to £50,000 dependent on experience.
