🚨 Construction Supervisor 🚨

Location: Ayr – covering projects throughout West Scotland

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are an established construction company based in Ayr, delivering building, renovation, refurbishment, hard landscaping and small-scale civil engineering projects throughout West Scotland.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee site operations across multiple projects, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate site teams across multiple projects.
  • Assist in allocation of labour, plant, materials and resources.
  • Monitor progress, productivity, quality and programme requirements.
  • Assist in coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and deliveries.
  • Identify and resolve site issues, delays and risks.
  • Carry out regular site and safety inspections.
  • Manage snagging and ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team on planning and project delivery.
  • Provide regular updates and accurate site records to the main office.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous construction supervisory experience.
  • Strong practical construction knowledge.
  • Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, labour and resources.
  • Good organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Full UK driving licence.

SSSTS/SMSTS, First Aid and a relevant trade background are desirable, although training opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

The Person

We are looking for a proactive, organised and confident supervisor who can take ownership of day-to-day site operations, lead by example and maintain high standards of safety, quality and productivity.

This is a hands-on, site-based role, with regular travel to projects throughout West Scotland alongside planning, administration and reporting.
