Construction Supervisor (CITB SEATS certificate & SSSTS certs) - Norfolk
£400 per day (outside IR35) + 8hrs on site + skilled, collaborative team environment + October start + opportunity to engage with global business and potentially more contract work in 2027/2028
A global compliance & certification organisation is looking to engage with a contract Construction Supervisor with CITB SEATS (Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme) & SSSTS certificate to supervise the construction of 2x air quality monitoring stations initially.
Current contract duration is 2 weeks on a site in Norfolk to start in October & 2 weeks on site in Devon, starting early 2027.
This is ad-hoc contract work & would suit an individual who has other clients and has availability to add other project work to their portfolio in 2026/2027.

Construction Supervisor responsibilities include:
- Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress, quality and safety of projects & multi-disciplined contract workers onsite
- Verify that materials, equipment, and workmanship comply with the approved specifications and drawings
- Identify any defects or non-conformances and work with the contractors to ensure timely corrective actions are taken
- Maintain detailed records of site inspections, test results, and any issues or deviations from the approved plans
- Attend project meetings and provide updates on the status of projects
- Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders related to scope of work
Construction Supervisor profile:
- HNC / HND or equivalent in Mechanical / Electrical or Construction Engineering
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar
- Good working knowledge of CDM regs & relevant building codes and industry standards
- Must have CITB SEATS & SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme)
- Experience working on 'live' construction sites, including any work for the Environment Agency, Civils, Waste-to-Energy, Hospital builds, Airports etc
- Good understanding of overall operations on a construction site with a focus on safety, compliance, project progress & ensuring multi-disciplined contractors are always
- Happy to travel across the UK & overnight for different project durations
