Company Description

JM Adventure Ltd is a UK leader in the design and construction of adventure parks, ropes courses, zip wires, net courses, and activity towers. With over 25 years of experience in the outdoor industry, the company delivers engineered solutions that meet demanding safety and performance requirements. JM Adventure guides clients from initial concept through construction and commissioning, maximising the potential of each site and budget. An in-house Inspection & Maintenance team supports facilities after completion to keep them operating safely and effectively. The company focuses on long-term partnerships, helping customers realise their ambitions for high-quality adventure experiences.

The Role

This is for a contracted period, on-site Construction Team Member role based in Swanage and working on sites across the UK & Ireland. The Construction Team Member will assist with the build and installation of adventure parks, ropes courses, zip wires, net courses, and activity towers, following project plans and safety procedures. The role involves working at height, collaborating closely with supervisors and other team members, and adapting to changing site conditions and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and organising materials
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Using specialist rigging & access equipment safely
  • Assembling structures
  • Supporting groundwork & foundations
  • Pole installations
  • Structural fixings
  • Working outdoors across varied weather conditions
  • Travelling to client sites across the UK & Ireland
  • Helping to maintain a clean and safe construction site

What we're looking for

  • Practical experience in construction, carpentry, or general labour, preferably in outdoor or structural projects. (desirable but non essential)
  • Experience of working at height, with a rope access and/or rescue qualification.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability, with a positive attitude toward physical, outdoor work.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations, including PPE use and site safety practices.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina, including the ability to lift materials and work in varied weather conditions.
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to different sites when required.
  • CSCS Card or relevant site qualifications (desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate)
