Role Description

This full-time, on-site Construction Worker role is based in the United Kingdom and involves supporting a variety of residential and commercial construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Performing general construction tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and assisting with structural work under the direction of site supervisors.
  • Helping with masonry, flooring installation, and renovation activities, ensuring all work is completed safely and to specification.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
  • Following health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborating effectively with other trades and team members to meet project timelines.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience in Construction and Renovation, with the ability to support a range of building and refurbishment activities.
  • Skills in Masonry, including brickwork or blockwork, and related structural tasks.
  • Competence in Flooring installation and finishing, with attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to conduct basic research on materials, methods, and tools to support efficient, high-quality work.
  • Understanding of construction site health and safety practices and willingness to adhere to company policies and regulations.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labor, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues.
  • Previous experience in construction or a related trade is preferred; relevant vocational training or certifications in construction skills are beneficial.
