What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced consultant who can build trusted relationships, think creatively, challenge constructively, and spot opportunities.
- Someone who can facilitate both off-the-shelf (OTS) and bespoke workshops brilliantly. (The majority of our OTS workshops run virtually, whilst our bespoke work is typically delivered face to face across the UK. Our consultants are expected to deliver both.)
- Someone who can design new learning experiences and coach people to help them reach their potential.
- Someone who will contribute to business development. That could be growing an existing relationship, contributing to writing high-quality bids and tenders, exploring new areas of business, or experimenting with new ideas and products.
- Unlike larger consultancies where responsibilities can be highly specialised, this role offers the opportunity to contribute across the full consultancy lifecycle, from relationship building and diagnosis through to design, facilitation, business development, and innovation. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play an active role in shaping both client outcomes and Berkshire's future.

Key Experience
Essential
- Significant experience (minimum 5 years) within leadership development, organisational development, talent, learning and development, HR, or change, with proven experience of designing and delivering solutions that create measurable impact for individuals, teams, and organisations.
- Excellent facilitation skills with the ability to engage, challenge, and inspire diverse audiences both virtually and face-to-face.
- Experience working with senior leaders and stakeholders, building credibility, trust, and productive partnerships across all organisational levels.
- Consulting, listening, and diagnostic skills including the ability to identify underlying needs and co-create tailored solutions with clients.
- Strong written communication skills including report writing, proposal development, and the ability to communicate ideas clearly.
- Experience managing client relationships, growing trust over time, and identifying opportunities to add value.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of consultancy environments including an appreciation of business development, account growth, and delivering value for clients.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership while contributing actively to a collaborative team culture in a virtual working environment.
- A growth mindset and commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
Desirable
- A coaching qualification.
- Qualified in a psychometric tool.
- Experience working across sectors.
- Specific recent experience of organisational change, culture development, or inclusion work.
- An existing professional network that may support future business growth.
- Interest or specialist expertise (e.g. Occupational Psychologist).

- Salary £50-60k depending upon experience, plus performance bonus.

The Practical Bit
- Our whole team works remotely from home.
- Team meetings are held monthly face-to-face in or around Berkshire (travel expenses reimbursed).
- Consultants are expected to attend internal project meetings, business development activities, and learn-and-share events face-to-face as required (currently a couple of times a month at most).
- Travel is required across the UK to client sites for delivery work.
- Occasional overnight stays may be required.
