About Us
J.O. Collective works with investor-backed businesses across the UK and Europe, in a nimble and dynamic way. We currently operate across executive search, talent management, deal advisory, and bolt-on deal sourcing, and we're growing.
About the Role
We're looking for an ambitious executive search or recruitment person who brings a niche specialism, whether that's a function or a sector, and wants to bring that expertise into a business where they can build a new practice and a team around them. It doesn't matter how many years of experience you've got, what matters is the quality of that experience and your values.
We want people who are open-minded to using the expertise in new areas, such as talent management, pre-deal advisory, and deal sourcing.
We like people who haven't quite fitted the corporate mould, and who want to be completely themselves at work. We're agnostic about background, as long as you're honest, hardworking, and have good morals.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
