We are inviting experienced Consultant Anaesthetists to hold practising privileges at Elanic Hospital, joining our elective theatre programme as part of a stable, consultant-led team.
The Role
This is not an employed position.
- You retain your independent practice while gaining access to a well-organised, predictable list structure.
- Access to elective theatre lists and day-case sessions, scheduled around your availability.
- Optional on-call / availability sessions — rota-based and opt-in, for consultants who want additional cover work.
- Work alongside a stable, consultant-led anaesthetic team.
- Non-resident on-call model, designed to support patient safety while preserving work-life balance.

Requirements
- GMC-registered Consultant Anaesthetist with a licence to practise.
- Holds own medical indemnity cover.
- Experience in elective private-sector practice desirable (but not essential).
- Commitment to high-quality, efficient theatre practice.
- Team-focused approach with an interest in service stability and development.
