An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Ecologist Bat specialist to join a small, friendly and established ecological consultancy delivering a broad range of ecological and wildlife services across South Wales and the South West. The company works on varied planning and development projects, with opportunities to build expertise across protected species, habitat surveys and ecological assessment.

As a Consultant Ecologist Bat specialist, you will undertake a varied mix of fieldwork, reporting and ecological consultancy, with a particular focus on bat surveys and protected species work.
The Role Will Include
- Bat surveys, including PRAs, emergence and activity surveys
- Ecological surveys, assessments and data analysis
- Report writing and GIS mapping
- Supporting protected species licensing and mitigation
- Liaising with clients and project stakeholders
- Working across South Wales and the South West

Requirements
- Previous ecological consultancy experience
- Strong bat survey experience; relevant bat licence desirable
- Good report writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or near to the Cardiff office
