Role Overview
The post holder will be responsible for delivering a high-quality, patient-centred Breast Surgery service, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care are consistently maintained and developed. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support the effective delivery of services in line with the Trust’s clinical and operational objectives.
Responsibilities
- Play an active role in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the continual development of the service and ensure adherence to best practice and national guidelines.
- Support the training and supervision of junior medical staff.
- Contribute to teaching, research, and innovation within the speciality.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Participation in appraisal and job planning processes.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving service needs.
