Consultant Breast Surgeon
A leading healthcare group in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain is seeking an experienced Consultant Breast Surgeon to join its specialist surgical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, surgical management, and follow-up care for patients with breast conditions, including benign and malignant breast diseases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients with breast conditions.
- Evaluate and manage benign and malignant breast diseases.
- Perform breast surgical procedures within the scope of specialist training and clinical expertise.
- Assess patients with breast lumps, abnormalities, and other breast-related conditions.
- Participate in the diagnosis and multidisciplinary management of breast cancer.
- Work closely with radiologists, pathologists, oncologists, and other multidisciplinary specialists.
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on clinical findings and diagnostic results.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and appropriate long-term follow-up.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical procedures, and expected outcomes.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable healthcare and regulatory standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical governance, quality improvement, and teaching activities.

Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognised medical institution.
- Recognised postgraduate qualification in General Surgery / Breast Surgery or an equivalent specialty qualification.
- Consultant-level experience in Breast Surgery.
- Experience in the management of both benign and malignant breast conditions.
- Candidates with Western qualifications or internationally recognised board certification are preferred.
- Eligibility for DOH (Abu Dhabi) licensing/registration.
- Strong clinical, surgical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
