Consultant Cardiologist - Heart Failure

This is a consultant post based at the North Middlesex Hospital within the Cardiology team. The job will comprise a mix of inpatient care and outpatient clinics. There will be considerable opportunity for service development and participation in clinical research as well as undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.

We are looking for consultant physicians with experience of working in Cardiology, with a specific interest in Heart Failure, who can deliver excellent care to our patients and work with us to further develop our service to meet the needs of our population.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical care & leadership in outpatients
  • 1 weekly Heart Failure clinic
  • 2 general Cardiology clinics per week including supporting nurse led clinic
  • Triage of incoming referrals on Cardiology pathways
