Location: Bristol or Manchester hybrid (regular travel to partner sites across the UK and Ireland as needed)
Role Type: Permanent (full-time preferred, flexible working considered)
Role Summary
Lead change activity within programmes, ensuring that new systems, processes and ways of working are successfully adopted and embedded. This is a delivery-focused consulting role for a flexible and proactive change professional to make a meaningful impact in a university setting.

Own and deliver change activity across programmes, working closely with delivery, data and partner teams to ensure change is structured, aligned and delivers sustainable outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
- Lead change delivery
- Conduct change impact assessments and design interventions
- Drive readiness activity and manage adoption risks
- Design and deliver stakeholder engagement approaches
- Develop communications, training and support materials
- Track adoption and ensure change can be embedded
- Maintain governance (RAID, reporting, documentation)
- Contribute to internal tools, methods and continuous improvement

This role sits at the Consultant level within PACT’s consulting career pathway (Analyst → Consultant → Senior Consultant → Lead → Principal), with increasing responsibility for delivery, stakeholders and impact.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in change, transformation or delivery roles
- Strong understanding of change management principles
- Experience delivering change activity within programmes
- Ability to translate system/process change into user impact
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Organised, analytical and proactive
Desirable:
- Change certification (e.g. PROSCI, APMG)
- Higher education or transformation programme experience
- Consultancy or system implementation exposure
