Job Description
Consultant Dermatologist
Location: Harley Street Dermatology Clinic (W1G 6JP)
Contract Type: Self Employed
Hours: Minimum 8 hours weekly
Salary: Percentage Split

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of a wide range of dermatological conditions.
- Deliver high-quality outpatient dermatology services, ensuring excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience.
- Perform dermatological procedures as appropriate, including biopsies, excisions, and minor surgical interventions.
- Develop personalised treatment plans and provide clear advice to patients regarding management of acute and chronic skin conditions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records in line with professional and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including GPs, specialist nurses, surgeons, and allied healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and service development activities.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant clinical guidelines, patient safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Support teaching, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the wider clinical team where appropriate.
- Maintain continuous professional development and stay up to date with advancements in dermatology practice and treatments.

Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
- GMC registration with a licence to practise and Specialist Register entry in Dermatology.
- Strong experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
- Confident in performing dermatology procedures and minor skin surgery.
- Excellent clinical judgement and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
