Role Description
The Consultant Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. This role focuses on managing and developing a team of technology consultants across multiple domains, including mobile, cloud, data, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing consultant assignments, monitoring performance, providing coaching and mentorship, and supporting professional development plans. The Consultant Development Manager works closely with internal leadership and client stakeholders to understand upcoming project needs, plan resource allocation, and ensure consultants are equipped with appropriate training and tools. The role also involves contributing to recruitment decisions, facilitating knowledge-sharing across teams, and helping maintain high standards of delivery, communication, and client satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Ability to support and guide consultants working in mobile and application development (e.g., Android, iOS), with a strong understanding of modern software development practices.
- Experience overseeing consultants in cloud and infrastructure technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, O365, DevOps), including familiarity with typical project lifecycles and skills required.
- Knowledge of data-focused and analytical domains (e.g., Big Data, Data Science), enabling effective mentoring, resource planning, and performance evaluation in these areas.
- Awareness of cyber security principles and practices sufficient to support consultants working on security-related engagements and to understand client expectations.
- Proven experience in people management, including coaching, performance reviews, career development planning, and team-building in a technical consulting environment.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, internal leadership, and cross-functional teams, and to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
- Background in technology consulting, software development, or IT project management; experience working in or with the UK market is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field; commitment to ongoing professional learning and industry certifications is beneficial.
