As a Consultant Ecologist, you will undertake a range of habitat and protected species surveys, prepare technical reports including Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and Ecological Impact Assessments, support Biodiversity Net Gain delivery, liaise with clients and stakeholders, and assist in managing projects from inception through to completion. The successful Consultant Ecologist will work alongside an experienced team on diverse and rewarding projects, with excellent opportunities for professional growth. Requirements
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science or a related subject
- Previous ecological consultancy experience
- Strong ecological survey and report writing skills
- Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policy
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or near to their Cheltenham office
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Membership of CIEEM is desirable
