The Role
As an Ecologist, you will support and manage ecological projects, undertake surveys, prepare technical reports, and provide ecological advice throughout the planning and delivery stages of projects. The Ecologist will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to biodiversity and mitigation strategies, and help ensure compliance with environmental legislation. There will also be opportunities to mentor junior team members and support business growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Ecology, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related discipline
- Experience undertaking ecological surveys and producing technical reports
- Good knowledge of UK environmental legislation and best practice
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- GIS experience beneficial
- Must live within a reasonable commute of the Basingstoke office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
