Ecologist

GBP31,000 - GBP38,000

Oxford

This is an excellent opportunity for an Ecologist to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment, working alongside experienced professionals and gaining exposure to a broad range of projects.

The Role Will Involve

  • Undertaking protected species and habitat surveys
  • Preparing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals and ecological reports
  • Supporting BNG assessments and ecological impact assessments
  • Assisting with mitigation, monitoring, and licensing work
  • Contributing to project delivery and client relationships
  • Developing technical skills through training and mentoring

To be considered for the Ecologist position, you will need:

  • A degree in ecology or a closely related subject
  • Relevant ecological consultancy experience
  • Good knowledge of UK ecology, legislation, and policy
  • Strong report-writing and IT skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • To live in or near Oxford and be able to commute to the office
