Job Description
Our Technical Real Estate Advisory team supports clients in optimising their Facilities Management services by aligning FM strategies with business objectives, enhancing operational structures and processes, and implementing effective operating models.
This role would suit candidates from FM consultancy, operational FM, engineering consultancy, client-side estates, asset management or service provider backgrounds who are looking to develop their consulting career while gaining exposure to strategic FM advisory projects across a diverse portfolio of clients.
We are seeking a Consultant with an interest in Facilities Management and Real Estate Advisory who can support the delivery of strategic FM consultancy services. The successful candidate will work with clients to improve operational performance, enhance service delivery, optimise asset management practices and support the implementation of FM transformation initiatives.

Key Accountabilities
- Support the delivery of Facilities Management advisory assignments, including operational reviews, service assessments, benchmarking studies and performance improvement initiatives.
- Assist clients in developing FM strategies, target operating models and service delivery frameworks aligned to business and estate objectives.
- Support the assessment and optimisation of FM operating structures, governance arrangements, processes and organisational capability.
- Contribute to FM procurement exercises, including service specifications, performance frameworks, KPIs, SLAs and tender documentation.
- Assist in the development of asset management frameworks, maintenance strategies and lifecycle planning approaches to improve estate performance and resilience.
- Support CAFM/IWMS advisory and implementation projects.
- Conduct FM audits, operational health checks and compliance reviews.
- Analyse FM performance data and develop actionable recommendations.
- Support mobilisation, transition and operational readiness programmes.
- Produce clear and insightful reports, presentations and recommendations.
- Build effective working relationships with clients, service providers and internal teams
Qualifications
- Experience within Facilities Management, FM Consultancy, Real Estate Advisory, Estates Management or a related environment.
- Understanding of Facilities Management operating models, service delivery and industry best practice.
- Knowledge of FM performance management, KPI development and service improvement methodologies.
- Understanding of asset management principles and maintenance strategies.
- Experience supporting FM reviews, audits, benchmarking exercises or operational assessments.
- Exposure to FM procurement, contract management or mobilisation activities.
- Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS systems and asset management data.
- Experience producing reports, recommendations and client-facing documentation.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Degree qualified or working towards a relevant professional qualification.
- Working towards membership of IWFM, RICS, CIBSE, APM or equivalent would be advantageous.
