Healthcare Consultant β NHS Transformation

We're working with a leading management consultancy to recruit an experienced Healthcare Consultant to support the delivery of a high-profile hospital discharge improvement programme across two NHS Trusts and local authorities.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a hands-on transformation programme, working directly with frontline healthcare teams to improve patient flow, embed best practice and deliver measurable operational improvements.
The Role As a Healthcare Consultant, you will:
- Work alongside ward managers, matrons, team leaders and wider NHS stakeholders to improve hospital discharge processes.
- Run improvement cycles and support ward rounds to identify opportunities for operational improvement.
- Coach frontline teams on the effective use of performance dashboards to drive better discharge outcomes.
- Analyse and interpret operational data to identify trends, provide insights and support decision-making.
- Produce clear, structured updates for stakeholders and contribute to the successful implementation of change.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 2-6 years of consulting experience within the NHS or wider healthcare sector.
- Experience delivering implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate confidently at all levels.
- Experience extracting, manipulating and analysing data from source systems.
- A structured, proactive approach and a passion for delivering tangible improvements.
