About the Global Commercial Team
BIP’s Global Commercial Team supports the Group’s international growth by bringing together commercial insight, market intelligence and coordinated business development. The team works across countries, practices and sectors to identify opportunities, strengthen client relationships and support consistent, high-quality commercial activity.
About the role
We are looking for an energetic and curious Consultant to join BIP Group’s Global Commercial Team, based in the UK. This is an early-career opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with initiative, creativity and a genuine commitment to high-quality work.
You will support a varied portfolio of global commercial activities, working with senior stakeholders and colleagues across BIP’s international network. The role will involve market and client research, commercial analysis, opportunity coordination, preparation of high-quality materials and improvement of day-to-day workflows, including the practical use of AI and automation. You will be expected to take ownership, communicate clearly and contribute ideas from the outset.
Key responsibilities
Commercial research and analysis
- Conduct structured research into clients, markets, sectors and competitors to support commercial priorities and decision-making.
- Gather, organise and interpret qualitative and quantitative information, drawing out clear findings, trends and practical recommendations.
- Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, briefing papers, opportunity summaries and other leadership or client-ready materials.
- Support commercial planning and performance reporting by maintaining accurate information and turning data into useful insight.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
