Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a substantive consultant post in Lincoln County Hospital in our Emergency Medicine department at United Lincolnshire Hospitals. We are looking for consultants to provide the highest quality of care to each individual patient who attends the department. The appointee will be required to work in a 1:15 on call rota with a 1:5 weekend frequency. The job plan will be aligned to a 85% DCC and 15% SPA split.

Role Responsibilities
The Appointee will be expected, in conjunction with their colleagues, to provide a comprehensive clinical, supervisory, educational and training support to the Emergency Department.

This is a substantive full-time Consultant post in our Emergency Medicine department for the United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospital NHS Trust (ULTH). The purpose of this post is to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to each individual patient who attends the department. The on-call supplement is currently category A and is classed as high frequency with an on-call availability supplement of 8% currently payable. If the person appointed elects to undertake a part-time contract, they will be required to devote substantially the whole of their professional time to the duties of the post and to give them priority at all times.
Any applicant who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the content will be discussed on a personal basis with the Trust in consultation with consultant colleagues.

Applicant Requirements
Applicants must be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of their CCT. CESR application must be completed and submitted, with Specialist Registration to be obtained within 6 months from the AAC date.
