Job Summary
An opportunity has arisen to join our team at Diabetes and Endocrine Department at East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust – Ipswich Site. In particular, we are looking to appoint a motivated individual to support either of two subspecialist services – namely antenatal diabetes and the diabetic foot services. There will also be an opportunity to develop research interests within this role.

Applicant Requirements
Applicants will have completed CCT or be within 6 months of obtaining it or equivalent (Pathway Portfolio).
Main Duties of the Job
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- General responsibilities: including participation in Consultant on-call rota
- Specialist Clinics
- Outpatient clinics
- Operating: as per specialty
- Teaching
- Care of inpatients or outpatients
- Clinical and other administration: as required by agreement
- Teaching and training: of junior staff and undergraduates
- Participation in Clinical Governance
