Immunology Department at Leicester Royal Infirmary
The Immunology Department at Leicester Royal Infirmary consists of a specialist Immunology Laboratory, Adult and Paediatric Immunodeficiency services, and an Adult Allergy service which is delivered in conjunction with the Adult Allergy department based in Glenfield General Hospital. The service is accredited to QPIDS and IQAS standards.
The Immunology Laboratory offers a comprehensive range of immunology assays both locally and regionally and is fully accredited by UKAS. The Laboratory is co-located with the clinical offices within a fully integrated Department on the Leicester Royal Infirmary site, with plans for a new purpose-built laboratory and offices in progress. The Leicester Immunology Department is a member of the Trent Regional Immunology and Allergy Consortium (TRIAC), which aims to ensure provision of high-quality Clinical Immunology and Allergy services across the region.

The Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy Department
The Adult Clinical Immunology and Allergy Department provides outpatient clinics for adult patients with suspected or diagnosed immunodeficiencies and allergies, advice and guidance for clinicians within the region, supervision and management of immunoglobulin replacement for patients with primary and secondary immune deficiencies, and participation in the local immunodeficiency and allergy MDTs and the subregional immunoglobulin advisory panel.
