Legal Counsel
From employment advice and litigation strategy, to consumer protection and regulatory compliance – Legal teams at Dell Technologies always have innovative, interesting and complex challenges to tackle. The International Legal team provides advisory support for Dell's global business - whether focused locally, regionally or globally - across the organization, supporting a wide range of stakeholders and legal business matters.
What you’ll achieve:
As a commercially minded Legal Counsel, you'll provide wide-ranging legal support to Dell's UK business across Employment, Litigation, Compliance and Consumer-facing business operations. You'll collaborate across the business to align strategy and mitigate risks, scaling your impact through an innovative, AI-forward approach focused on modernized legal support.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will:
- Lead legal support for UK HR matters, including employee relations, workplace policies, investigations and employment-related risk management.
- Manage and coordinate litigation and dispute resolution matters, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external counsel as required.
- Provide advice on compliance and regulatory requirements, helping the business identify, assess and mitigate legal risks.
- Support the UK Consumer business, including Retail and Marketplace, by delivering practical legal guidance on consumer protection and operations.
- Partner closely with business, HR, compliance, regional and global leadership teams to enable strategic objectives, applying a smart, business-oriented risk approach, while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Requirements
- Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales with 9+ years relevant experience. On-site in London (Creechurch and/or Chiswick).
- Proven ability to provide pragmatic, proactive and business-focused legal advice in a fast-paced environment, with a strong ability to build effective working relationships with senior stakeholders, applying excellent communication, interpersonal skills and professional maturity.
- Background in employment law and experience supporting HR functions.
- Experience in consumer protection advice, including pricing, promotions and marketing.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude and a clear understanding of risk assessment/mitigation; ability to take a creative and flexible approach to the business, with comfort taking decisive actions based on limited information.

Desirable Requirements
- Experience managing litigation matters and providing Regulatory advice across a range of areas relevant to Dell Technologies.
- Familiarity with AI modernization and legal application (Claude, Harvey, Co-Pilot).
- Strong interest in working as part of an international high-performing Legal team, with close collaboration with international colleagues.
- Experience working for multinational corporations and a knowledge of the IT sector.
