Our Artificial Intelligence & Data (AI&D) team at Deloitte is at the forefront of transforming our clients’ industries through advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. Our clients include some of the largest and most well-known organisations, brands, and public bodies. We partner with these clients to design, build, and implement innovative data strategies and operating models, robust and scalable data platforms, and cutting-edge AI.
Client engagements are predominantly with organisations facing important transitions. Engagements are typically driven by business unit leaders, CDOs, COOs, and other members of the senior management team. Client engagements may be as short as a few months, but can also evolve into multi-year, wide-ranging, and transformative relationships. You will play a critical role in both developing and delivering data solutions for our clients. You will work closely with clients to better understand their business needs and develop solutions that leverage the latest AI & Data technologies.
We are looking for candidates with Data Management expertise to join us, working in fast-paced teams with talented colleagues across the UK and Deloitte’s wider delivery network. We encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.
Your role
As a practitioner in AI & Data, you will be responsible for leading and delivering data management initiatives on client projects. You will devise innovative solutions to help our clients address their biggest data challenges, focusing on establishing robust data governance frameworks, improving data quality, managing data migrations, and implementing effective master and metadata management strategies.
You will design, implement, and maintain comprehensive data management solutions, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and compliance across various systems and platforms. In your role, you will have responsibility for deliverables and client stakeholder relationships and will be delivering solutions for our clients using agile methodologies. You will often be working in multi-disciplinary teams across a range of industries, subject matters, and locations including close coordination with offshore and nearshore delivery teams such as Cairo.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
