Role Description
The Consultant MSK Radiologist role is a remote position focused on delivering high-quality musculoskeletal imaging reporting for MRI and CT studies, along with other relevant modalities as required. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting MSK imaging examinations, producing clear and timely diagnostic reports, and participating in peer review where required. The consultant will work closely with Medispace clinical operations teams and client sites to ensure consistent imaging standards, optimize reporting workflows, and contribute to service improvement initiatives. Additional tasks may include protocol optimization, quality assurance activities, and occasional clinical guidance for radiographers and referrers.

Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in musculoskeletal radiology, including advanced MRI and CT interpretation across trauma, sports injuries, degenerative disease, and oncologic MSK imaging.
- Strong diagnostic reporting skills, with the ability to produce accurate, concise, and clinically actionable MSK radiology reports within agreed turnaround times.
- Proficiency in using PACS, RIS, and teleradiology platforms, and comfortable working in a fully remote, digital reporting environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with referrers, multidisciplinary teams, and Medispace operations staff.
- Commitment to quality, patient safety, and evidence-based practice, including participation in audit, peer review, and continuous professional development.
- Relevant medical degree and completed specialist training in radiology, with recognized board certification or equivalent and appropriate license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience in high-volume MSK reporting and familiarity with international clinical pathways and guidelines is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and adapt to varying client requirements across UK and European healthcare settings.
