Job Title: Consultant –.NET + SQL
Location: Knutsford, UK
Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days per week in office
Contract: 6 months
Experience: 8+ years
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Consultant –.NET + SQL with strong expertise in C#, SQL, PowerShell, WebAPI, API development, solution design, and backend development.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in.NET development, MSSQL, Kafka, Ansible, DevOps, Git, and CI/CD, along with exposure to AI-assisted development tools.

###.NET / C# Development
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- Expert knowledge of C# and .NET.
- Strong experience in WebAPI and API development.
- Strong understanding of JSON and API interfaces.
- Experience in solution development and solution design.
- Strong coding practices and automation experience.
Backend & Database
- Strong hands-on experience in Backend Development.
- Strong RDBMS knowledge.
- Expert/practitioner-level experience with MSSQL / SQL Server.
- MongoDB experience is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
Integration & Automation
- Hands-on experience with Kafka integration.
- Strong experience with PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with Ansible / AAP 2.4 or 2.5.
- Experience in automation and development tooling.

DevOps & Development Tools
- Practitioner-level DevOps experience.
- Experience with Git, Jenkins, and Confluence.
- Good understanding of CI/CD practices.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
AI Development
- Experience with AI development or AI-assisted/co-development.
- Exposure to tools such as GitLab Duo or Claude Code is preferred.
