Role Outline:

Health Partners is one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health and wellbeing solutions, we work with organisations across a wide range of industries to support the physical and mental health of their employees.

As a Consultant Occupational Health Physician, you will play a key role in undertaking pension assessments and appeals, providing expert pension advice, you will be part of a dedicated pensions team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake pension assessments and produce high-quality reports with clear rationales/justifications
  • Produce evidence-based reports and recommendations for eligibility for ill-health retirement benefits
  • Stay up to date with relevant legislation, clinical guidelines, and best practices in occupational health/ill health retirement.

What we are looking for:

  • GMC registered Occupational Health Physician
  • A qualified Occupational Health Physician who is experienced in pension work with AFOM/MFOM/FFOM
  • Previous experience in pension assessments
  • Proven skills in producing pension reports with a high-quality rationale/justification for the outcome
  • Experience in appeal work
  • Familiarity and experience working with a range of pension schemes.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in pension assessments including appeals as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders. A proactive and flexible approach, combined with strong organisational and time-management abilities, is essential. Familiarity with relevant workplace health legislation and guidelines (e.g., Equality Act, Health and Safety at Work Act) is required, as is IT literacy and the ability to prepare detailed and professional reports.

Hours:

Minimum of 2 days a week (15 hours)

Fully remote, Home-based
