Consultant Ophthalmologist | Clinical Partner | Clinical Director

Do you want to become a Clinical Partner with Newmedica in the future?

One thing that unites everyone at Newmedica is a passion for our purpose: improving people’s sight and transforming lives. We want to deliver outstanding eye care that’s accessible, sustainable and patient-centred, complementing the NHS and providing choice for patients. And we want to do that in a way that creates long-term value for our partners and communities.

We're building a Talent Pool of future Clinical Partners, bringing together Consultant Ophthalmologists, Resident Doctors and aspiring future ophthalmology leaders who want to combine outstanding patient care with the opportunity to co-own and help shape a successful ophthalmology business.

We're committed to supporting the next generation of ophthalmologists. If you're still in training or not yet on the GMC Specialist Register, we'd be happy to discuss options for building a future pathway towards partnership.

This is your opportunity to register your interest so we can connect when the right opportunity arises.

What does a Clinical Partner do?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
