Location: The consultant may be based anywhere. All training and technical support will be delivered virtually.

Duration: The consultancy is expected to be conducted over a period of 20 working days between August and September 2026, including preparation, delivery of training sessions and submission of all deliverables.

BirdLife International, through its Preventing Extinctions Programme and in partnership with SOS-Forêts, is implementing the project, ‘Restoring Vulture Populations in Côte d’Ivoire through Community-Based Conservation.’ The project aims to improve the conservation status of threatened vultures in and around Comoé National Park by addressing the drivers of belief-based use and trade, strengthening stakeholder awareness, and building local capacity for conservation action.

The consultant will provide technical support to strengthen the social marketing capacity of SOS-Forêts in support of vulture conservation under the Restoring Vulture Populations in Côte d’Ivoire through Community-Based Conservation project.

EXPECTED DELIVERABLES:

  • Report on the SOS capacity needs related to social marketing with emphasis on existing capacities, training needs, and recommendations for training focus.

  • Set of social marketing planning and baseline research tools developed with SOS-Forêts staff during the training process, including stakeholder mapping, audience segmentation, behaviour analysis, baseline research instruments (questionnaires, interview guides, and other data collection tools), and draft elements of a Social Marketing campaign strategy.
  • Training Delivery Report, including agenda, participant list, training evaluation results, key outcomes, and recommendations for further capacity strengthening.
  • Final Consultancy Report, summarising activities undertaken, outputs delivered, recommendations and next steps.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
