Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon
We are seeking an experienced Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon to join a leading private hospital in Dubai, UAE. This opportunity is suited to a UK-trained consultant with a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Trauma and Orthopedic Surgery, strong clinical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
The successful candidate will assess and manage a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions, perform orthopedic procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent).
- Proven experience working at Consultant level in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Current or eligible professional registration with the General Medical Council (GMC), where applicable to the UK qualification pathway.
- Relevant clinical experience in orthopedic surgery, including operative and non-operative patient management.
- Strong diagnostic, surgical decision-making, and communication skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine, patient safety, and multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage orthopedic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
- Perform orthopedic surgical procedures appropriate to the candidate’s training and clinical expertise.
- Manage trauma cases, fractures, joint disorders, and other musculoskeletal injuries.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical management.
- Provide preoperative assessments, postoperative care, and follow-up consultations.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical records and comply with hospital clinical governance and patient safety standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and continuous quality improvement activities.
