Are you a Consultant Paediatrician with a passion for improving outcomes for children and young people?

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Consultant Paediatricians to join our growing CYP Assessment Services team. This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality autism assessments for children and young people.

The company values of commitment, trust, integrity and kindness are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for clinicians who share these values and are committed to providing families with a positive, respectful and compassionate assessment experience.

About the Role

As a Consultant Paediatrician, you will play a key role in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for children predominantly aged 3-5.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting face-to-face ASD assessments for children and young people.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Observing children and young people during MDT assessment sessions and ensuring questions are asked in an age-appropriate, sensitive and compassionate manner.

  • Bringing together clinical information to formulate an appropriate diagnosis in line with DSM-5 criteria.
  • Providing clear, supportive and compassionate feedback to families following assessment.
  • Offering appropriate recommendations and signposting families to relevant local and national resources.
  • Producing high-quality, detailed diagnostic reports within 48 hours of the assessment, using established report templates.
  • Using available AI-supported transcription and reporting tools to assist with efficient, high-quality report writing.
  • Making onward referrals where clinically appropriate and in accordance with relevant NHS Trust/ICB pathways and protocols.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
