The opportunity
We take our work personally, building valuable partnerships with clients and adding value at every touchpoint. In your role of Consultant, you will champion this mindset in all that you do. You will be responsible for delivering digital transformation projects around pharma Customer Relationship Management (CRM) suites (including Closed Loop Marketing (CLM) content), against agreed budgets and objectives. You are expected to take ownership over key components of our consultancy projects, collaborating with the wider team and leveraging your domain and technology knowledge to deliver great outcomes for our clients.
Working closely with both our Founder and Senior Consultant, your strategic guidance will be welcomed and valued as we capture client requirements and craft our offering based on their individual needs. Working in a highly regulated industry, where accuracy is critical, you will present high standards in all you do and your versatility and strong problem solving skills will contribute to successful projects for our clients. Above all, what will set you apart is your ability to quickly assimilate information in order to work with the level of proactivity, independence and quality that is a hallmark of our reputation at twentyeightb.
The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or strategy days in Huntingdon, Cambridge, London or client offices.
Main responsibilities
- Preparing consultancy materials such as slide decks and workshops.
- Create documentation such as playbooks, training materials and reports.
- Own designated projects or part of projects as agreed with senior members of the consultancy team.
- Supporting early stage client meetings.
- Supporting consultancy sessions (such as workshops and briefing meetings) by presenting and facilitating.
- Capturing notes, actions and requirements.
- Ensuring that projects are successfully adopted and follow through/ next steps are achieved.
- Maintaining consistent communication with clients between meetings and sessions.
- Assist in the creation of sales documentation such as statements of work, quotes, estimates and proposals.
- Partner with Project Managers to build and refine project plans, actively challenging timelines to ensure they realistically account for the full deliverable lifecycle (including drafting, QA, client review period, amends and hand-off).
- Quickly build your knowledge of our offerings, workstreams and mindset, skillset, toolset approach.

What we are looking for from you - skills & experience
Essential
- Meaningful experience of partnering with or working in commercial or medical affairs roles, within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven ability to be able to build good rapport and chemistry, nurturing and developing relationships comes naturally to you.
- Proven experience of working in a collaborative way with your team, clients and external partners.
- Strong commercial awareness of realistic project scheduling, with the confidence to push back to align client priorities with scope.
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Confident communicator, naturally comfortable working with all levels of stakeholder.
- Excellent listening skills, the ability to hone in on and clarify key requirements of a project.
- Good digital understanding and a willingness to build your knowledge in our product and service offering.
- Comfortable working with numbers and discussing basic statistics.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of tools and GSuite.

Desirable
- Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience as a medical sales rep/ field.
- Experience in a pharmaceutical brand marketing, CRM/ CLM, digital, or strategic role.
