Position

As a Consultant, you will support the delivery of procurement excellence and value creation projects across a range of industries and spend categories. You will work closely with clients and project teams to analyse data, develop insights, and contribute to practical, measurable outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to accelerate their development in consulting, take on increasing responsibility, and grow as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

Your mission

  • Support procurement cost improvement and transformation initiatives
  • Contribute to project delivery across direct and indirect spend categories
  • Analyse complex data sets and develop fact-based insights
  • Create high-quality client-ready outputs and presentations
  • Engage professionally with client stakeholders at different levels
  • Manage your own tasks and deliverables in line with project objectives and budgets
  • Demonstrate initiative and proactively support the project team
  • Apply structured problem-solving to reach robust, justifiable conclusions
  • Document analyses, assumptions, and methodologies clearly and accurately
  • Identify and highlight inconsistencies or gaps in data
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the development of colleagues

Your profile

Our Consultants bring a strong foundation and a desire to grow. Ideally, you will have:

  • An excellent academic degree
  • Initial professional experience in procurement, supply chain, or management consulting
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • A structured approach to solving complex problems
  • A solid understanding of business and technical issues
  • Clear, confident communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Fluency in English – additional languages are an advantage

Working Arrangements & Travel

Our teams operate in a hybrid working model, combining client site work, collaboration from H&Z offices, and remote working. Work location depends on the client, project, and business needs.

When not on client site, we typically spend around two days per week in the office. Flexibility, comfort with travel, and the ability to work remotely are essential.
