Consultant Psychiatrist – CAMHS
Location: South East England
Salary: Up to £200,000 per annum, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Pulse Psychiatry is currently recruiting for an experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist to join a specialist private inpatient mental health service in the South East.
This is a permanent opportunity for a Consultant who is looking to take an active role in the clinical leadership and development of a CAMHS service, working closely with an established multidisciplinary team.
The Role
As Consultant Psychiatrist, you will take responsibility for the psychiatric care of young people admitted to the service and provide clinical leadership across the wider MDT.

Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as Consultant Psychiatrist and Responsible Clinician for CAMHS inpatients
- Leading assessments, diagnosis and treatment planning
- Working closely with young people, families, carers and external professionals
- Chairing MDT and CPA meetings
- Preparing reports for Mental Health Act Tribunals and Managers Hearings
- Providing clinical leadership alongside the wider management team
- Contributing to clinical governance and service development
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives
- Participating in teaching, audit and academic activity
About You
We are looking to speak with experienced CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrists who are comfortable working within an inpatient setting and taking responsibility for both clinical delivery and wider service leadership.

Salary & Package
The role offers a salary of up to £200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
There may also be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities across areas such as clinical leadership and teaching.
