Job Opportunity: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry - NHS Fife
This is an exciting opportunity for committed clinicians to join our dedicated team within NHS Fife working in old age psychiatry Mental Health Team covering West and East Fife. These are full-time posts (10 sessions).

Role Details
The post holder will be supported by a cohesive and collegiate group of clinicians, and will participate in CPD and peer supervision. Consultant peer groups meet regularly and there are regular educational events organized as part of our in-house programme.
We are always striving to improve our service and we seek an enthusiastic, dynamic, and committed individual to lead and manage change. An area of particular focus over the next couple of years will be the development of the non-medical workforce given the medical staffing challenges across the United Kingdom. A keen interest in supporting multi-disciplinary team colleagues’ professional development would be invaluable.

Qualifications and Eligibility
Applicants must have:
- Full GMC Registration
- A license to practise
- Eligibility for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register
Those trained in the UK should have evidence of higher specialist training leading to CCT or be within 6 months of confirmed entry from the date of interview. Portfolio Pathway (formerly known as CESR - Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration) route doctors are only eligible to apply for a substantive consultant post once it has been awarded. Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent training to demonstrate that they have the knowledge, skills, and experience required for practicing as an eligible specialist in the UK.
