Consultant Radiologist Opportunity in NHS Lanarkshire
An opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Radiologist post within NHS Lanarkshire. This is an additional post to help address service needs. This substantive consultant radiologist post is NHS Lanarkshire wide, with the base site being University Hospital Wishaw but cross site working at either University Hospitals Monklands and Hairmyres, physically or remotely may be required. The post is offered on a full time 10PA basis but applications will be welcomed from those wishing to work less than full time.
About the Role
This is an opportunity to join a motivated and dynamic clinical team that will support further service opportunities aligned to improvement work within a service that is growing and developing.
Proposals for SPA Time
Proposals for additional SPA time from applicants are encouraged. In addition to the 1 PA for Non-DCC/SPA activities, the Board is supportive of applications for additional SPA time from individuals with well-developed ideas for improving services who are able to demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement, patient safety (including human factors training), Medical Education, Research & Development, acting as an Appraiser, etc. Applicants who are able to demonstrate a commitment to any of the above or other areas and wishing to commence on more than 1 PA for SPA duties should discuss proposals with the identified Recruitment Lead and/or Service Manager who will consider the request in line with the successful candidate’s professional and service requirements.
