Weldon Young Surveyors is an independent, RICS-regulated practice providing professional residential surveying services. The firm delivers Level 2 and Level 3 home surveys and RICS valuations. Operating across Dorset, Hampshire, and London, Weldon Young Surveyors serves a diverse range of clients and property types. The team is focused on delivering clear, reliable advice that supports informed decisions for homebuyers, homeowners, and investors.
Role Description
The Consultant RICS Residential Surveyor will carry out Level 2 and Level 3 residential surveys and RICS valuations for properties in and around Dorset. This is a consultant-based role that involves inspecting properties, preparing high-quality survey reports, and providing clear guidance to clients on property condition, risks, and maintenance requirements.

Qualifications
- AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS with experience in residential Level 2 and Level 3 surveys and RICS valuations.
- Excellent report-writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely for non-technical audiences.
- Effective client communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain findings, manage expectations, and build long-term relationships.
- Good time management and organizational abilities, with experience managing site visits, deadlines, and documentation independently.
- Proficiency with surveying software, digital reporting tools, and standard office applications.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to transport to attend on-site inspections.
