Are you an experienced solicitor who has already built a strong client base, but feels there is more you could achieve with the right platform behind you?

We’re working with an established legal consultancy that is looking for experienced solicitors who want to build and grow their own practice, without taking on the cost and administration of running a traditional law firm.

This is an opportunity to retain the entrepreneurial freedom of consultancy while having the infrastructure, support and resources around you to help take your practice further.

What’s on offer?

  • A generous fee split designed to reward you for the business you generate
  • Full administrative support, allowing you to focus on your clients and fee-earning
  • Dedicated support with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Professional indemnity insurance included
  • Access to established systems, technology and infrastructure
  • Support with business development and marketing
  • The ability to work remotely and flexibly
  • The freedom to continue developing your own client relationships and practice
  • Opportunities to grow your team and practice as your business develops
  • A platform designed to support you in building something with long-term value

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who are we looking for?

We’re particularly interested in speaking with experienced solicitors who:

  • Have an established client following or strong network
  • Are already working as a consultant or are considering making the move into consultancy
  • Want greater control over their working life and earning potential
  • Are commercially minded and interested in growing their own practice
  • Value having the freedom to operate independently, but don’t want to be completely on their own
  • Are looking for a long-term platform rather than simply another consultancy position

Why make the move?

For many experienced lawyers, consultancy offers the freedom they want but the reality can sometimes mean having to handle the business development, administration, compliance and infrastructure yourself.

This model is designed to give you the best of both worlds:

The freedom to build your own practice, with the support of an established legal platform behind you.

If you’ve already built something successful and are wondering what the next stage could look like, this could be worth exploring.
