Role Description
The Consultant Solicitor will manage a personal caseload, provide advice, and represent clients across relevant areas of law.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Meeting clients
- Assessing legal issues
- Drafting documents
- Preparing and reviewing contracts
- Handling case correspondence
The role involves advocacy where appropriate, negotiating settlements, and liaising with courts, regulators, and other professionals.
The Consultant Solicitor will also be expected to:
- Maintain accurate file management
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and firm standards
- Contribute to business development through networking and client relationship management
This is an on-site role based in Dartford.
Qualifications (Desired)
- Strong grounding in general Law, with the ability to provide clear, practical legal advice.
- Experience in Property Law and Conveyancing, including residential and commercial transactions.
- Knowledge of Employment Law, advising on workplace rights, contracts, and disputes.
- Familiarity with Commercial Real Estate matters, including leases, acquisitions, and related documentation.
- Qualified Solicitor (or equivalent) with a valid practicing certificate and experience in private practice.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills, with meticulous attention to detail and time management.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage a varied caseload, and maintain high standards of client care and compliance.
- Comfortable with using legal research tools and standard office software; experience with case management systems is beneficial.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and collaborative work with colleagues.
