Reem Hospital, a leading multidisciplinary healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Consultant Spine Surgeon with expertise in Scoliosis Surgery and Complex Spinal Deformity Procedures to join our team on a part-time visiting consultant basis.
This opportunity is ideal for a UK-based consultant who wishes to expand their practice internationally while maintaining their current commitments.
Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant Spine Surgeon with extensive experience in:
- Adult and adolescent scoliosis surgery
- Complex spinal deformity correction procedures
- Minimally invasive spine surgery
- Degenerative spine conditions
- Spinal trauma and reconstruction
- Pre-operative assessment and post-operative management of scoliosis patients

The successful candidate will provide specialist consultations, perform surgical procedures, and contribute to the development of advanced spine services at Reem Hospital.
Requirements
- CCT/CCST or equivalent specialist qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery or Neurosurgery
- Fellowship training in Spine Surgery
- Proven experience performing scoliosis and complex spinal deformity correction surgeries
- Eligibility for DOH (Department of Health Abu Dhabi) consultant licensing preferred
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- UK, European, North American, Australian, or equivalent consultant-level experience preferred
Practice Arrangement
- Part-time visiting consultant role
- Flexible visiting schedule
- Opportunity to perform surgical procedures and clinics during scheduled visits
- Administrative and operational support provided by Reem Hospital
